A spectacles counterbalance device comprising a tubular slide on connector figure 9 (and figure 11) to fit the glasses temple arms or fulcrum areas and a rearwards extending beam or wire projection with a counterbalance weight or mass attached at its end, the wire or beam being so shaped as to slide into the tubular slide on connector extrusion with a telescoping action to facilitate the adjustment of the counter balance effect and for storage. The invention preferably is used together with a nose pad or brow pad arrangement, perhaps of generic design; that preferably prevents the excessive spectacle movement about the wearers head. Although the invention is specified to fit onto any spectacles frame, purpose built spectacles may preferably comprise the invention possibly fitted in conjunction with a nose or brow pad. |
