DIFFUSING PARTICLES BASED ON ORGANOGELLING XEROGEL FIBERS, METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME AND USE IN COSMETIC FORMULATIONS

Oblong particles (I) in the form of a pile made up of an organogellifying fibers (II) in the form of xerogel. The fibers are primarily directed towards the same direction to define the length of the particle i.e. 2-100 mu m. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of the particles comprising dissolution of the organogellifying substance in a volatile organic solvent (S1) i.e. non-miscible with water, pouring the obtained mixture under mechanical agitation, in an aqueous solution optionally comprising surfactant or water-soluble polymer, recovering and drying; (2) spindle-shaped particles in the form of pile containing organogellifying fibers in the form of xerogel; (3) active particles made up of (I) on which a dermo-cosmetic active principle is immobilized; (4) a dermo-cosmetic composition comprising (I) and a vehicle; and (5) a cosmetic treatment to hide wrinkles, ridules and other cutaneous imperfections and/or to standardize the complexion, comprising applying the dermo-cosmetic composition to the skin.
