VARIABLE VALVE DEVICE OF LATCHING SHAFT ROTATING TYPE FOR ENGINE

A latching shaft rotating type variable valve device for a vehicle engine is provided to save the manufacturing cost by simultaneously latching inner and outer bodies of four cam followers through using one electromotive motor. A latching shaft rotating type variable valve device for a vehicle engine comprises an inner body(30) integrally formed with a roller(31) being in contact with a low cam. An outer body(40) is provided at the outer side of the inner body and has a pad(41) being in contact with a high cam. A latching shaft(45) is provided in a bracket(25) installed at the outer body and is rotated by a driving force of an electromotive motor. A latching unit(50) is provided between the inner and outer bodies to adjust the degree of lift of a valve(3) by maintaining or releasing locking between the inner and outer bodies according to rotation of the latching shaft.
