<p>A microfluidic device, and a microfluidic system containing the microfluidic device are provided to prevent the restriction of rotation number due to the operation condition such as a capillary valve in case of the movement of fluid. A microfluidic device(104) comprises a disk-like platform capable of rotating; a plurality of connection ports(31,32,33,34,35,36) which is arranged at the position near to the rotation axis on the platform and is connected with an external connector for the selective injection, discharge or isolation of fluid; a trap chamber(150) which is arranged at the position far from the rotation axis compared with the connection port on the platform, whose entrance is connected with at least one of the plurality of the connection ports, whose exit is connected other another one of the connection ports, and which has a structure increasing the contact area with the fluid inside; and a temporal storage part(160) which is arranged at the position far from the rotation axis compared with the trap chamber on the platform, whose entrance is connected with the exit of the trap chamber, whose exit is connected with another one of the connection ports, and which accommodates the fluid discharged from the trap chamber by centrifugal force in case of the rotation of the platform.</p> |
