A method of forming a power supply controller and a structure therefore are provided to enable the power supply controller to reduce a short circuit current more efficiently and to control the short circuit current and resonance switching without forcing fixed dead-time. A power supply controller(35) includes a switching controller(66), a first circuit(46), a second circuit(28), a first sensing circuit(52) and a second sensing circuit(63). The first circuit controls a first transistor of a half-bridge to adjust an output voltage formed by the power supply controller by forming a first driving signal responding to the switching controller. The second circuit controls a second transistor of the half-bridge by forming a second driving signal responding to the switching controller. The first sensing circuit receives a bridge voltage formed by the half-bridge, and stops operating of the first transistor in response to the bridge voltage with a value lower than a first value. The second sensing circuit receives the bridge voltage, and stops the second transistor in response to a bridge voltage with a value higher than a second value and lower than the first value.
