<p>The turbocharger, with a sealing unit (2) for sealing the bearing housing oil chamber (13) in relation to the compressor chamber (14), has a sealing ring (1) included in the sealing unit which is located with an axial clearance on the rotor shaft (12) between a disc (9) and sealing bush (16) which are fastened on the rotor shaft. Oppositely orientated air feed devices are arranged in or on the end faces (17,17') of the sealing ring. The disc and the sealing bush define a slot in which the sealing ring is located. An independent claim is included for a sealing unit for a turbocharger including a sealing ring.</p> |
