An obstacle detecting device is provided to generate an electric signal for an obstacle generating shock power more than a preset value, thereby being applied to the unmanned driving control of a railroad car to improve the stability and reliability of the railroad car. An obstacle detecting device comprises a bar-shaped detecting unit(50) and a contact sensor(60). The bar-shaped detecting unit detects collision with an obstacle and is operated according to shock power by the collision. The contact sensor has a contact portion(61) interlocked with the operation of the bar-shaped detecting unit, and converts the shock power into an electric signal when there is shock power more than a preset value to control the driving of a vehicle. |
