A standing iron is provided to improve external appearance of iron and user convenience by covering an electric wire connecting a heater and a liquid heating assembly and a hose with an outer sheath. A standing iron comprises a base, a water container, a flexible hose, and an ironing unit. The base has a liquid heating assembly. The water container supplies liquid to the liquid heating assembly. The flexible hose is connected with the liquid heating assembly and covered with an outer sheath(340), and transfers steam. The ironing unit is connected with the hose to receive steam, and has a plate(287) with a steam injection port and a heater(300) heating the plate. An electric wire(302) connects the heater and the liquid heating assembly. |
