A client device for providing a broadcasting program, a server therefor, and a method for providing the broadcasting program are provided to offer the broadcasting program from a stopped part at a desired time although the user stops watching broadcasting while viewing the broadcasting program. A control unit(210) generates last frame information for identifying a frame corresponding to a broadcasting viewing stop time of a broadcasting program which is being viewed by a user. A communication unit(220) transmits the generated last frame information to a server which services broadcasting through the Internet, requests a broadcasting program from the server, and receives the broadcasting program from a frame searched by the server on the basis of the last frame information.
