The use of estradiol valerate (I) or 17beta -estradiol (I') in combination with 17alpha -cyanomethyl-17beta -hydroxy-estra-4,9-dien-3-one (dienogest) (II) is claimed in the production of a single- or multiphase combination preparation for oral therapy for maintaining and/or increasing female libido, optionally in combination with oral contraception. ACTIVITY : Vasotropic; Antifertility. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Estrogen; Gestagen.
