<p>A device for grooving a workpiece is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by simplifying structure of the device and minimizing volume of the device, and improve productivity remarkably by reducing the operating time for completing grooving of the workpiece. In a workpiece groove device for forming a groove in a clamped workpiece(28) by allowing left and right cam drivers connected to a lifting member(2) to horizontally slide a cam slider penetratingly installed in a clamp(10) of a support(8) through a punch, the workpiece groove device is characterized in that: one cam driver(4) in the left and right cam drivers is divided into front and rear parts and inserted to a horizontal guiding member(18) fixed to the lifting member in a way that the one cam drive can be slidingly operated forward and backward through the horizontal guiding member to elastically support the one cam driver by front and rear springs(20,22) installed between the one cam driver and the horizontal guiding member; and joining grooves are formed on an outer lower part and a bottom central part of the one cam driver in a way that the joining grooves vertically face spreading parts(15,17) fixedly formed on the support to prevent the one cam driver from interfering with the cam slider by allowing the spreading parts to open the one cam driver in forward and backward directions during the descent of the lifting member.</p> |
