PLANE TYPE VOLTAGE CONTROLLED OSCILLATOR FOR MILLIMETER WAVE AREA

A planar voltage controlled oscillator for a millimeter band is provided to facilitate a frequency tuning process by adjusting an operation voltage of a varactor diode. A planar voltage controlled oscillator includes an active element unit, a resonance unit, and a tuning unit. The active element unit is composed of a Gunn diode(100). The resonance unit is composed of a ring type planar resonator(200). The tuning unit is composed of varactor diodes(300) for tuning a frequency.
