The invention relates to producing sausage goods and is directed at simplifying a process for producing a reinforced sausage casing and at reducing production cost by reducing the time required for carrying out operations for preparing and hardening an adhesive composition and by reducing the cost of adhesive materials. The inventive reinforced sausage casing comprises a tubular base (1), the external surface of which is encompassed by a reticulated shell (2) affixed to the tubular base (1) by means of a polyvinyl-acetate adhesive. An aqueous polyvinyl-acetate dispersion, in particular the aqueous dispersion of 25-70% polyvinyl-acetate alcoholic solution can be used in the form of a polyvinyl-acetate adhesive, wherein a polymer content ranges from 35-60 %. The tubular base (1) can be made either from natural materials, for example animal intestines, or from artificial materials, such as cellulose, or polyamide, or collagen, or belkozin or fabios. The reticulated shell (2) can consist of separate or intertwisted threads (3) made either of cotton, or flax, or polyamide, or polyester, or a cellulose and form either round, or oval, or square, or rhombic or multiangular mesh cells. A distance (a) between the centers of the adjacent cells ranges from 0.5 to 5 cm. The diameterDo of the tubular base (1) ranges from 3 to 15 cm and is equal to or less than the diameter Dc of the reticulated shell (2). In the preferred embodiment, the threads (3) are coated with the polyvinyl-acetate adhesive from all sides. The reinforced sausage casing can be embodied either in the form of a segment, one side of which is closed by means of a clamp (4), or in the form of a sleeve wound on a core, or in the form of a crimped hose. |
