FIELD: mechanic engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve manufacture industry and is designed to control thick fluids or fluids with high content of solid materials in pipelines. Guillotine-type valve consists of a body (1) including two sealing elements (7) made of elastomer. These elements (7) are mounted directly in opposite way to each other but in mutual contact. Each sealing element (7) contains pneumatic leak proof circumferential chamber (8) completely filled with air and T-shaped metal mandrel (10). Mandrel (10) consists of two independent parts (11, 12): tubular part (11) to ensure rigidity of sealing element and disc-shaped part (12) to distribute load exerted by pipeline flanges. ^ EFFECT: improvement of guillotine-type valve leakproofness. ^ 5 cl, 4dwg, 3 dwg |
