A unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots consists of a frame, a feed conveyer, a baffle brush, a cleaner, and of an unloading conveyer. The cleaner is made as a cleaning unit arranged as an inclined one, made by driving cylindrical rollers having counterrotational movement by pairs above which an activator is disposed. The rollers of the cleaning unit are arranged longitudinally and make a cascade of three channels forming a zig-zag profile the transversal sizes of which reduce in the downward direction. Inside of each of the channels activators are arranged. They are made as elastic disks arranged at angles to the longitudinal axes of the rollers, the diameters of which change in the downward direction, and side gaps with the rollers remain the same. |
