SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CURVATURE ADAPTED ISOSURFACE EXTRACTION BASED ON DELAUNAY TRIANGULATION

A system and a method for producing the curvature reflection equi-potential surface based on the Delaunay triangulation are provided to extract the mesh of the curved surface from the three-dimensional negative function data. An initial producing module(1) receives the negative function data and produces the initial mesh. A curved surface geometric module(2) receives the initial mesh, calculates the direction curvature value of the curved surface, produces the Delaunay vertex set to be used the Delaunay triangulation and calculates again the negative function. A space division module(4) performs the Delaunay triangulation with the Delaunay vertex set as the reference and produces the Delaunay triangulation information. A final mesh extraction module(3) receives the three-dimensional negative function data from the Delaunay triangulation information produced from the space division module and extracts the final mesh.
