MEMBRANE-ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY OF FUEL CELL AND FUEL CELL

A membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell is provided to allow maintenance of a sufficient amount of moisture even under low supply of moisture from the exterior, thereby improving the ion conductivity of an electrolyte membrane and the quality of a fuel cell. A membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell comprises: an electrolyte membrane(200); an anode and a cathode facing to each other with the electrolyte membrane interposed between both electrodes, wherein each of the anode and the cathode comprises a catalyst layer(203,205) and a gas diffusion layer(209); and a hydrophilic layer(202) formed on either surface or both surfaces of the electrolyte membrane, and comprising a glycerol-based material and an ion conductive monomer.
