A method for skipping a blank and a terminal thereof are provided to eliminate time waste caused by the blank, to make it easy searching for information on a web page, and to reduce a connection cost of a web browser by increasing a search speed. A method for skipping a blank comprises the following several steps. A user selects a blank skip menu via a mobile terminal(S202). A controller checks whether a scroll command is inputted with respect to a web page displayed on a display unit(S204). The user inputs a scroll command with respect to the web page by using a navigation key in case of needing the scroll command because the web page currently browsed via the display unit has too much text or image(S206). The controller checks whether there exists a blank on the web page(S208). If so(S210), the controller skips the blank, matched with a vacant line, and moves to the next object(S212). The controller scans the data on the web page stored at a memory, skip the blank, and checks whether the next object like text or image appears(S214). If so in the step of S214, the controller displays the next object(S216). If not so in the step of S214, the controller focuses the uppermost end of the web page and displays the first object of the web page(S218).
