The invention relates to medicine and regards to a method for diagnostics of dementia by the dynamics of gamma-glutamiltranspeptidase activity in heparin test. In heparin test in vivo the dynamics of gamma-glutamiltranspeptidase activity of blood serum is determined by comparison of ferment activity indexes in preheparin and postheparin blood serums and by comparative analysis of change directions.
