A method and an apparatus for providing a mail sending service are provided to allow a subscriber to set mail sending conditions of personal contents to receive the personal contents and maintain a communication service although he cannot directly use a communication service, without having to release it. A subscriber management unit(210) manages subscriber information of a mail sending service. A sending condition setting unit(230) sets mail sending conditions. A personal contents collecting unit(220) collects personal contents of a subscriber according to the set sending conditions. A personal contents converting unit(240) converts the collected contents into a file format for a letter. A mail sending requesting unit(250) requests creating of mail content by using the collected personal contents and sending of a mail including the created mail content. When a message is set as a type of the collect target personal contents in the sending conditions, providing of the message terminated to a phone number of the subscriber is requested from a message service providing device, and the message terminated to the phone number is received from the message service providing device. The subscriber information includes the phone number information of the subscriber.
