RING AUTHENTICATION METHOD FOR CONCURRENCY ENVIRONMENT

A ring authentication method in a concurrency environment is provided to prevent a message forgery and maintain anonymity of a transmitter by reliably authenticating a message. A receiver receiving a message requests a message authentication to a sender of the message(S14). The sender of the message requested to authenticate the message sends a message verification value to the receiver(S17). The message verification value proves that the sender is one of plural units and verifies the message. The receiver verifies the received message verification value and determines whether the message is authenticated. The message verification value has a value for indicating that the sender knows one of private-public key pairs.
