A virtualization based high availability cluster system and a method for managing an error in the virtualization based high availability cluster system are provided to supply services to users without discontinuity by managing troubles generated in the virtual nodes efficiently. Plural physical nodes include message generators(450-1,450-2). The message generators generate messages for indicating what the multiple virtual nodes are the normal state, produce and transmit the message to the virtual node of the same physical node. When there is an error in any one node of the virtual nodes included in the first physical node among plural physical nodes, any one node not included to the first physical node among plural physical nodes fails-over the resource related to a service. High availability managers(430-1 to 430-N, 440-1 to 440-N) generate the message for notifying what there is no an error in the virtual node to all virtual nodes and transmit the generated message to the virtual node existing in the same physical node.
