A unit or transporting and cleaning tuberous roots consists of a frame, a feed conveyer, a baffle brush, a grating cleaner, an activator, and also of a gravity separator and an unloading conveyer. The cleaner is made as a driving hollow cone, arranged as an inclined one, made by transversal rods, disposed with gaps, with vertex thereof, forwarded downwards, has inside generating surface thereof a radial hollow of a curvilinear shape. An activator is made as a brush which is arranged outside the hollow cone, the driving axis of which is arranged at angle to the generating surface of the cone, and which is disposed in gaps between the transversal rods of the hollow cone by elastic rods thereof. |
