A 7-speed power train of an automatic transmission of a vehicle is provided to realize one simple planetary gear set and one composite planetary gear set using four clutches and two brakes. A 7-speed power train of an automatic transmission of a vehicle includes a first planetary gear set(PG1), a second planetary gear set(PG2), and plural friction elements. The first planetary gear set is a simple planetary gear set and delivers a rotation power, which is inputted through an input path from an input shaft, through an intermediate output path. The second planetary gear set is a composite planetary gear set and receives the rotation power from the intermediate output path of the first planetary gear set through two intermediate input paths. The second planetary gear set receives the rotation power through the input paths from the input shaft, changes a speed, and outputs the changed speed through a final output path. The friction elements couple operation elements in the first and second planetary gear sets with each other and couple the operation elements with a transmission housing.
