A video phone service system using a 3G(Generation) mobile communication service, a method therefor, and a 3G mobile communication terminal capable of using a video phone service are provided to apply a messenger service to a mobile communication service using a W-CDMA(Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) and HSDPA(High Speed Downlink Packet Access) type. A messenger communication module(11) communicates with a plurality of 3G mobile communication terminals in which a certain messenger program is installed. A data processing unit(14) receives moving picture data and voice data capable of transmitting packets from one of a plurality of the 3G mobile communication terminals, and provides the received moving picture data and the voice data to one of a plurality of the 3G mobile communication terminals except for the mobile communication terminal which provides the data.
