EVAPORATING APPARATUS COMBINING WITH EXPANSION USING THE LIQUID MEDIUM INJECTION TYPE

A liquid medium injection-type expansion and evaporation apparatus is provided to increase cooling efficiency by injecting liquefied medium to refrigerant during an expansion process such that evaporation heat of the refrigerant is raised to increase expansion work. A liquid medium injection-type expansion and evaporation apparatus comprises an expansion/evaporation device(2), a liquefied medium supply pipe(3) and a liquid separator(4) connected between the refrigerant pipe and the liquefied medium supply pipe. The expansion/evaporation device expands and evaporates refrigerant, which is introduced or discharged through a refrigerant pipe(1) such that the refrigerant is converted into liquid and gas having low temperature. The liquefied medium supply pipe through which liquefied medium flows is connected to the refrigerant pipe in a row and is provided with a heat exchange part(31).
