An automatic sound range controller of an audio apparatus is provided to reproduce a clear sound signal by controlling a feedback sound which contains a howling component from a signal received through a microphone. An automatic sound range controller includes an input matching unit(110), a sound range controller(120), a volume analyzer(130), and a feedback sound controller(140). The input matching unit maintains a balance in at least one input signal from at least one microphone according to a volume analysis signal and suppresses an excessive response. The sound range controller automatically compensates for phase and volume components of the signal from the input matching portion according to a feedback control signal, and outputs the compensated result. The volume analyzer analyzes volumes of the signals from the sound range controller and outputs the analyzed result to the input matching portion. The feedback sound controller analyzes the range and color of the signals from the sound range controller and controls a feedback sound. |
