FIELD: engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of gas-turbine units. The unit consists of several first gas turbines, located coaxially to compressors, and the second gas turbine located coaxially to generator. Turbines are rotated by coolant, heated in the gas-cooled high-temperature nuclear reactor. To facilitate start-up of the unit, each of the first turbines has a bypass pipeline, providing ability to independently control of the speed of turbines at start-up. At start-up, speed of rotation of the first gas turbines is increased consequently downstream from one first turbine to another up to the rated speed of rotation in order to provide independent consequent increase of speed of rotation of every turbine up to the safe value. ^ EFFECT: safe start-up of turbines. ^ 4 cl, 9 dwg |
