A polymer compound containing a phenylcarbazole group is provided to realize excellent hole transport property, and to impart high efficiency and high color purity to a polymer electroluminescence device. A polymer compound containing a phenylcarbazole group is represented by the following formula, wherein R4, R5 and R6 are the same or different and represent H, halogen atom, alkyl, alkoxy, cyano, nitro, acyl, substituted amino, non-substituted amino, substituted aryl, non-substituted aryl, substituted heterocyclic or non-substituted heterocyclic group; X3 and X4 are the same or different and each represents a linking group selected from alkylene, substituted arylene, non-substituted arylene, substituted heteroarylene, non-substituted heteroarylene and combinations thereof; Y2 is a C6-C60 aryl optionally containing a substituent, C4-C60 heteroaryl optionally containing a substituent or fluorene optionally containing a substituent; c and d are the same or different and each represents 0 or 1; and m is an integer of 2-50,000.
