A bar-type portable terminal cover equipped with an elastic hinge unit is provided to enable edge units to be in a smooth type which perfectly covers edges of an apparatus while the elastic hinge unit is freely detachable, thereby excluding cutting grooves as improving apparatus protecting performance. A body unit(10) is adjacent to a rear side of an apparatus. Sidewall units(30) cover both sides of the apparatus. An elastic hinge unit(20) is disposed on the center of the body unit or between the sidewall units and the body unit. Edge units(31) formed as curved surfaces to cover edges of the apparatus are extended in length direction on both ends of the sidewall units. The elastic hinge unit is caved in to be inflected from the body unit.
