Lock for sliding leaves with easy support via spring-bearing brackets which contribute to the withdrawing and protection of the lock during closing with the securing tongues to a locked position and have a configuration allowing the installation to different series of profiles. The lock consists of a reciprocating blade (1) securing at multiple points and supported on the profile (15) of a sliding leave with brackets (23) having a -shaped cross-section, connectable to uneven endings (1a) of the blade with screws (4) passing through grooves (4a) of the endings (1a) and being wedged in a transverse wall (15b) of the profile (15) with their sharp ending (19). The brackets (23) have springs (3) allowing the attenuation of the impact stress exerted on the blade (1), while the paws (23a) of the brackets (23) step on curved internal walls (15a) of the profile (15), supporting the blade. The blade (1) which reciprocates along the grooves (4a) cooperates with an opposite anti-blade (11) penetrating in the profile (15), when the sliding leave is closed, being secured by engagement of a series of tongues, pins, hooks or other type of latching elements (6, 7) of the anti-blade (11) or blade (1) in engagement grooves (7a, 6a), respectively, of the blade (1) or reversely of the anti-blade (11). |
