A thermal treatment system for wastes is provided to reuse carbon compound existing in organic wastes as an energy source by collecting the carbon compound in a solid state. A thermal treatment system for wastes comprises a low temperature thermal treatment chamber(120) and a wet cleaning chamber(130). The low temperature thermal treatment chamber decomposes wastes by heating the wastes and then collects the wastes in a solid state. The wet cleaning chamber allows harmful gas and dust, which are generated from the low temperature thermal treatment chamber, to pass therethrough, and stores water to remove large dust by immersing the large dust in the water. The wastes are classified into organic wastes and inorganic wastes. The organic wastes includes waste polymer. The thermal treatment system further includes a high temperature thermal treatment chamber(140) and a dry chamber(110).
