#CMT# #/CMT# The vehicle has a tilting unit (20) with a front trolley mounted on a case of a motor vehicle e.g. saloon car, and a back trolley (22) connected to a cassette (15). Fixed curve-linear guiding rails (24, 26) respectively co-operate with a joint ball (21) of the front trolley and the back trolley, where the rails (24, 26) move the cassette and a roof panel (11) to a horizontal intermediate position above a trunk compartment (7). Third fixed curve-linear guiding rail (28) moves the cassette and the panel to a storage position, and co-operates with the back trolley. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Convertible type motor vehicle e.g. saloon car. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The cassette and the roof panel can be moved from the storage position to the horizontal intermediate position and the retracted position in an effective and automatic manner according to the external climatic condition, thus avoiding the cassette from being closer to the head of a passenger on the seat of the vehicle, and hence providing a perfect alignment between the fixed guiding rails of the case in order to allow displacement of the trolleys carrying the roof panel.
