<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum pigment having excellent storage stability (low hydrogen gas generation) in water-based paint or water-based ink, and having excellent adhesiveness and electric strength and a method for producing the pigment. <P>SOLUTION: The multicoated aluminum pigment is surface-treated with an aryl group-containing silane compound such as phenyltrimethoxysilane, phenyltriethoxysilane, diphenyldimethoxysilane and diphenyldiethoxysilane and coated with silica, and a water-based paint and a water-based ink contain the aluminum pigment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
