摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery voltage monitoring device capable of monitoring the voltage of a combined battery having a large number of batteries forming it while saving power. SOLUTION: The monitoring device does not employ centralized control using one set of microcomputer, but employs distributed control using an intelligent detection module 31 and a central microcomputer 30 arranged for each different ground potential, wherein data are digitally transferred between the N-sets of detection modules 31 denoted by M<SB>1</SB>-M<SB>N</SB>and the one set of central microcomputer 30 by serial connection. Since this configuration can eliminate the necessity of a circuit using a ground for the central microcomputer 30 as a reference ground in the detection modules 31 and power consumption is closed for each of divided grounds, the detection modules 31 are the same as serial connection viewed in the entire battery module 3, thereby preventing an increase in power consumption even if the number of the detection modules 31 increases.
