PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular light shielding device for predicting whether lights from another car will be radiated to one's own car or not in the future and performing light shielding in advance based on map information and information of the own car and another car. SOLUTION: Visual field of occupants in the own car within a predetermined period of time and a light axis of a light from an object vehicle are respectively calculated based on the map information obtained from a navigation device 3 and the information of the own car and the object vehicle (S6-S10). When the device determines that eye direction of the own car will be coincident with the light axis direction of a head light of the object vehicle within a predetermined period of time, it predicts that the light from another car will be radiated to the occupants of the own car at timing of the coincidence (S11) and controls the relevant area of dim glasses 5A-5D to be in a light shielding status (S14).
