PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply which can attain compaction, cost reduction, enhancement of efficiency, and the like. SOLUTION: The power supply comprises one DC-DC converter 2, a plurality of positive power supply sections 3 and 4 stacked in an arbitrary number of stages, and negative power supply sections 5 and 6 stacked in an arbitrary number of stages. A plurality of arbitrary voltages can be obtained by connecting with an arbitrary number of stages of the positive power supply section or the negative power supply section for output, regulating the power supply voltage of a step-up DC-DC converter, and changing the combination of the output from the positive power supply section, the output from the negative power supply section, the power supply voltage, and the GND as the position for taking out the voltage and obtaining the differential voltage from these positions for taking out the voltage.
