PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security when connecting to a private network via the Internet while using a portable communication apparatus such as a cellular phone. SOLUTION: A private network connection method includes: imaging a QR code using a cellular phone to decode and decrypt recorded encrypted data; then collating profile data with a cellular phone number of the QR code; connecting the cellular phone to a reverse proxy server via the Internet on the basis of connection setting information recorded in the QR code only when the both are matched so as to download and browse desired data from an information providing server. Encrypted data are recorded in the QR code, the cellular phone does not store connection setting information read from the QR code nor display the connection setting information on a screen at all. Since high-grade security measures are taken, desired information can be safely acquired from the information providing server by the cellular phone completely without worrying about leakage of connection setting information.
