PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device wherein push rod parts of movable contact pieces can be formed without requiring a separate member and work to assemble the separate member to reduce its cost. SOLUTION: In this switching device formed so that a cam plate is moved by an operating member operated by a user, movable contact pieces 58-60, 61-63 are deformed by pushing the push rod parts 76-78, 79-81 of the movable contact pieces 58-60, 61-63 by the cam plate which has been moved, and the movable contact pieces 58-60, 61-63 are restored by releasing the pushing, and switching action to have the contacts 70-72, 73-75 of the movable contact pieces 58-60, 61-63 contacted and separated from a stationary contact is thereby carried out, the push rod parts 76-78, 79-81 of the movable contact pieces 58-60, 61-63 are formed by applying a mechanical process to make some of the movable contact pieces 58-60, 61-63 protrude.
