PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical apparatus which is applicable to a projector, an optical switch, a bar code, a copy machine or the like, and is downsized. SOLUTION: The optical apparatus 10 comprises: a light source 13; a mirror element 12 having a mirror 54 which reflects light A emitted from the light source 13; and a mirror element housing body 11 which houses the mirror element 12 and has a light passing part 46 which passes the light C reflected on the mirror 54, wherein the light source 13 is provided in the mirror element housing body 11, and a reflection member 14 which reflects the light A emitted from the light source 13 towards the mirror 54 is provided in the mirror element housing body 11.
