PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide seals and a seal set, which can keep the adhesion of stains blocked over a long period of time by a simple structure. SOLUTION: In the seals 2 housed in a seal case 3 having at least a pair of sides 6 provided with a predetermined housing space S therebetween, each seal includes a main body part, the bottom surface of which is provided with a stamping surface, and widthwise extending lugs 27 provided at both the widthwise ends of the main body part, wherein the lengthwise dimension between the tip of one of the lugs 27 and that of the other of the lugs 27 is set to be larger the distance between the insides of a pair of the sides and the lengthwise dimension between the lower end part of the lug 27 and the stamping surface is set to be smaller than he depthwise dimension between the insides of the pair of the sides.
