The rotating machine regulation method has a rotating machine (12) fed by an undulating voltage (14) set by a reference volt (Vref) from a regulator (16) providing a coupling value. The electromagnetic coupling value is calculated from a discrete model finding the coupling variation at sampling instants with two components, the free evolution value and the value without the comm voltage. The command voltage is then modified to vary the coupling from the free evolution to the required coupling value.
