A mobile terminal is provided to control output end impedance of a PAM(Pulse Amplitude Modulation) unit and output end impedance of a duplexer according to a voltage level of a battery, thereby increasing communication time by reducing current consumption of the PAM during a call. A controller(11) measures a voltage level of a mobile terminal battery(12), and generates a control voltage in accordance with the measured value. A first matching unit(14) changes impedance according to the generated control voltage to match output signals of a PAM unit(13), by being connected between the PAM unit and a duplexer(15). A second matching unit(16) changes impedance according to the generated control voltage to match output signals of the duplexer by being connected between the duplexer and an antenna(17).
