<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sealing property of glass for a vehicle attached to a door of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In this mounting structure 10 for the glass for the vehicle, a weather strip 2 is attached to the outer peripheral fringe 105a of the glass 105 for the vehicle, and the glass 105 for the vehicle and the weather strip 2 are integrally fitted into a window frame 103 of the door 100 of the vehicle. A projecting part 12 protruding to the downward side of the vehicle is formed along a seal lip 2g on the bottom face 2h of the weather strip 2. A substantially trapezoidal pedestal 13 protruding to the upward side of the vehicle is formed at a position where the projecting part 12 is abutted on it in the window frame 103 of the door 100 of the vehicle. The pedestal 13 has a seat face 12a on which the projecting part 12 of the weather strip 2 is abutted and a slope 12b allowing the projecting part 12 to come into slide-contact with it and to rise above the seat face 12a when the weather strip 2 slides in forward and backward directions of the vehicle and is fitted into the window frame 103 of the door 100 of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
