<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cell for an air mat whose contact area with the body surface of a user is widened to lower a contact pressure, thereby making shear force to the skin small even when raising the back, and an air mat provided with it. <P>SOLUTION: The air cell for the air mat comprises: a first cell 11 in a thin and long bag shape formed of an urethane sheet and provided with an air supply port 15 for filling air inside; a second cell in the thin and long bag shape formed of the urethane sheet, whose length is equal to the first cell and diameter when filled with air is roughly a half of the first cell; and a third cell 13 in the thin and long bag shape similarly formed of the urethane sheet, whose length is equal to the first cell and diameter when filled with air is roughly a half of the first cell. The second cell 12 and the third cell 13 are welded side by side on the upper surface of the first cell 11, and a communication port 14 for air distribution is provided between the first cell and the second cell and between the first cell and the third cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
