<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium enriched liquid sugar which enables it to easily produce food and beverage for ameliorating calcium indigestion deficiency while enhancing calcium absorption efficiency owing to improvement in solubility of calcium in the presence of a phosphate under neutral condition by adding to the food and beverage. <P>SOLUTION: The calcium enriched liquid sugar contains fructose or sugar alcohol containing ≥400 ppm of the calcium salt, wherein the diluted solution containing ≥80 ppm of the calcium obtained by diluting the liquid sugar, has the calcium solubilizing function. The calcium enriched liquid sugar contains one or more material selected from the group composed of phosphorylated sugar, casein phosphopeptide, and organic acid.
