PASSWORD OPERATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a password operation system for reducing the risk of illegal transaction when a password leaks due to a peep.

SOLUTION: The password operation system is equipped with a server 204 which is connected to a biometric-automatic transaction device 201 equipped with a biometrics device which acquires biological information and to a non-biometric-automatic transaction device 202 which is not equipped with the biological information authentication device and is configured to manage passwords to be used by both the transaction devices. The server is provided with: a storage part 205 for storing a first password to be used by the former automatic transaction device and a second password to be used by the latter automatic transaction device; and a password control part 208 for managing the validity of the second password stored in the storage part. The password control part validates or invalidates the second password stored in the storage part according to the input from the former automatic transaction device.
