<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contract related document confirmation system capable of simply and properly determining the authenticity of a contract related document and reducing an operator's loads. <P>SOLUTION: Using an automatic contract machine 1 which performs processes accompanying a contract between a customer and a company, and a contract management server 3 connected to the automatic contract machine 1 through a communication line 2, the automatic contract machine 1 recognizes a character string from an image of the contract related document read by a scanner 7, extracts character information between a first fixed word and a second fixed word from the character string, and allocates the extracted character information to a customer attribute from the kind of the first and second fixed words as customer attribute information. The validity of the customer attribute information is determined by the contract management server 3, and when determined to be valid, personal identification is performed.
