<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-fit pin made of wire material which can be press-fitted, without accompanying damages, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: There was a problem that a tip of a press-fit pin may be damaged by a press-fit tool, when the press-fit pin (1) is made out of wire material. In order to hold the tool on the press-fit pin, without damaging the tip of the pin, shoulder part (3) is prepared in it.
