<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rendering program, a rendering device and a rendering method for displaying the surface of a three-dimensional model with cloth having realistic texture. <P>SOLUTION: A reflection characteristic measuring instrument 10 receives reflected light of a thread T2 of an actual thing and measures a reflection characteristic that shows energy of the reflected light of the thread T2. A correcting part 106 uses parameter fitting to calculate a specular reflection factor K<SB>s</SB>, a glossiness factor<SB>p</SB>, and first and second diffuse reflection coefficients K<SB>d1</SB>and K<SB>d2</SB>so as to minimize an error between the reflection characteristic of the thread of the actual thing and the energy of reflected light obtained from a reflection function. A rendering part 107 uses the reflection function with the factor calculated therefrom and texture modeled after a raising fabric to render the three-dimensional model. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
